CSA starts the week of May 14

Hello CSA families!

Spring has been slow coming this year.

Tuesday, April 3rd

Despite the record cold nights, and cold snowy windy days in March and April, we have kept the spring planting schedule close enough to our normal planting dates that we will be officially starting CSA the week of May 14th.

Perfect spinach just a few weeks later!
With no major infrastructure projects going in this spring, and going into year six, Jay and I are feeling very good about the coming season of amazing organic veggies.

This year we made a CSA Handbook which has been emailed to each of you and is also available on the sidebar of our website.    We know we have many new members, and two new pickup sites this year; we hope the handbook is a useful tool.

Soon we'll be up to our eyeballs in amazing veggies!
We still have space in our 2018 CSA. Buying vegetables in the CSA format is very different than shopping at market or the grocery.  It's an amazing way to bring the most delicious and nutrient dense food into your life while making a connection between what's on your table, your community, your local economy, and your environment.

We appreciate your commitment to our farm and we look forward to making 2018 our best CSA season so far.

We can't wait to pack your first CSA box of the season in just a few weeks!

Kindly,

Jay and Mandy and the Lower Valley Farm Crew
